This is an incredible opportunity for my prospective engineering students…If you want an option that will allow you access to Texas A&M but do not yet qualify OR are not ready just yet for a four year institution…READ below!
The Texas A&M Engineering Academy program is the first engineering transition program of its kind in the United States. Unlike traditional transfer programs, students admitted into the engineering academies are Texas A&M College of Engineering students from day one! The application for fall 2022 is open through June 1, 2022.
Students are co-enrolled between Texas A&M and ACC, taking their mathematics, science, and core curriculum courses at ACC while taking engineering courses from Texas A&M faculty at ACC’s HLC campus. After one or two years, students transition to Texas A&M to complete their bachelor’s degrees. The Texas A&M Engineering Academy students who start in Austin have higher success and completion rates than students who start in College Station!
