Volunteers needed for Gullett Elementary Business Fair!

Do you need volunteer hours? Are you a good person who likes to help others succeed? Come help make the second annual Gullett Children's Business Fair a success!

Homecoming Volunteers Needed

Student Council needs 10 parent volunteers to chaperone the end of the Homecoming Dance and help with clean up. The hours requested are 9:30-11:30pm at the Norris Center, Red Oak Ballroom. The dance ends at 11pm. Details: Homecoming Dance October 26, 2004

MAC Travel is headed to Washington!

Hi McCallum parents! We’re traveling to Washington D.C.! Hi! I’m Sarah Noack and I’m excited to announce that I will lead a group of McCallum HS students on an EF Tours trip to STEM: Washington, D.C. in June 2026. On this adventure, students will tour a working STEM lab, learn what it takes to become a forensic analyst at one of Washington, D.C.’s museums, and put their STEM skills to use during a mock mission!

Hello McCallum families! A reminder that students will not attend classes on November 1, 2024 for the observance of Diwali.  Diwali is known as the Festival of Lights. Diwali is a Hindu observance celebrated throughout the world.

Annual Blue Brigade Poinsettias Fundraiser

The Blue Brigades annual Poinsettia fundraiser is here! Poinsettias are 15.00 each (red only) and can be ordered using the link below. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward contest and spring show costumes. Poinsettias will be delivered the week of Nov. 18th.

Weekend Update #7 including what you need to know for the PSAT

The end of the first grading period is just two weeks away! It’s essential for students to focus on completing any outstanding assignments. If there are any concerns or if your student requires assistance, please encourage your child to reach out to their teachers. October is also Bullying Prevention Month, a timely reminder for us all to foster a safe and supportive environment for our students. Additionally, I want to remind our families about the PSAT test this Wednesday, which presents a tremendous opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and prepare for future academic endeavors.

PSAT Schedule (Shortened A Day rather than a C Day)

We will run an shortened A day schedule. Testing in the morning, classes after lunch.

Visual Arts Booster Club Meet and Greet - Monday, Sept 30th

Come out and meet other Visual Arts parents and find out what the Booster Club is up to this year. First beverage is on us! Snacks and plenty of time to visit with other parents. Less meeting and more greeting! Hope to see you there! When: Monday, September 30th from 6:00-7:30

PSAT - October 9th (9th-11th Grade students need their fully charged Chromebooks!)

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 9th, when our students will be taking the PSAT. Our 9th-grade students will participate in the 8/9 version of the PSAT, while 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT/NMSQT.
