It’s been an unprecedented two years and Project Graduation is eager to invite McCallum seniors to an end-of-year celebration carnival on the McCallum campus from 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday, May 26. The seniors-only carnival will include inflatables, games, food and prizes – all for free in the McCallum parking lot.
Project Graduation builds off what the class of 2021 successfully launched during the pandemic — McCallum’s first-ever, outdoor senior carnival — that reflects the creative, independent and friendly student body at McCallum. The 2022 Project Graduation committee was inspired by the closing scene in the 1978 movie “Grease.”
The McCallum Senior Carnival will feature rides, such as the Spinner, Wrecking Ball, Leaps & Bounds, and a Rock Wall. Hands-on activities include a teacher dunk tank, corn hole, jugglers, fortune teller, karaoke, photobooth and silent disco.
Each student will receive food tickets to use at local vendors including CraigO’s, Sun’s Out Buns Out Burgers (beef and chicken), Tamale Addiction (gluten and vegan free options available), Jim Jim’s, Moms & Pops and Churro Burro.
Additionally, every attendee will be entered into a raffle to win gift cards to favorite stores and restaurants, and bigger prizes such as Air Pods, laptops and more (must be present to win). In lieu of a cake walk, McCallum seniors can participate in a CASH WALK.
We need parent volunteers to help make this a success. Sign up here.
