Summer Camps

 

Summer Speed & Strength Camp 

(All athletes entering grades 7th – 12th who plan on attending McCallum)

McCallum Field House

June 1- 25th & July 6- 16 (8-10 AM each day)

Camp is six weeks total with an off-week June 29- July 3
Sessions will run Monday - Thursday each week. No camp on Fridays!

Athletes will be separated into groups based on age, gender, and experience so that workout plans will be appropriate for
a wide range of experience levels. Athletes attending other schools will not be allowed to participate.

Who: All athletes entering grades 7th – 12th who plan on attending McCallum


What I Need: Physical/Participation Forms, Athletic Attire & Fee

 

Completed Physical/Participation Forms:
- Athletes who already have a physical on file with AISD for the ‘25-’26 or ‘26-’27 school year are covered for this camp.
They do not need to show proof of a physical!
- All other athletes will be required to submit a completed AISD physical form, along with the “Required Online
Participation Forms” in order to participate. Both can be found at https://www.austinisd.org/athletics/forms.
Please do not mail in physical forms! All paperwork must be submitted through the portal at the website above.


Athletic Attire:
Athletes should wear clothing which is appropriate for indoor/outdoor exercise and closed-toe shoes. Additionally, athletes
may wish to bring a pair of cleats, a personal water bottle, and a towel.


Camp Fee:
The cost for the entire six-week camp is $75. Register electronically using the QR code below. If you choose to pay by
check, please make it out to McCallum Football Boosters and bring it on your first day of camp. Partial or weekly
payments are not accepted. Camp fees can be waived for participants who qualify for free/reduced lunch. Waiver forms
are available upon request.

The McCallum HS girls basketball team is putting on another
great summer camp! We will work on important fundamentals
and skill breakdowns with targeted drills to help the players
learn and grow. We will emphasize the many aspects of being a
part of a team. There will also be games, prizes, and a lot of fun!
