Dear Austin ISD Community,

Due to freezing rain and extreme cold temperatures expected in the Austin area, all travel and school activities for Saturday, Jan. 24 are canceled. This includes athletics, field trips and school-based events. 

All Austin ISD facilities will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 24 and Sunday, Jan. 25, including any rentals from outside organizations. 


We will continue monitoring weather for a possible delay or closure for Monday, Jan. 26. For more information on inclement weather protocols, please visit the Austin ISD website.
