Principal Update
Greetings Mac families! I am thrilled to start another exciting year at A.N. McCallum High School. This is a special year for us because it marks the 70th year of McCallum at home on Sunshine Drive.
MAC SWIM TEAM Try-Outs
If you are interested in trying out for the McCallum Swim Team, please email your interest to head coach Jeff Rudy at: jrudy@austinisd.org. We will be having an orientation meeting prior to try-outs.

McCallum Dance and Cheer Summer Camp
Join us for the Blue Brigade Dance Camp and/or the McCallum Cheer Camp! Both camps are open to Kinder – 8th graders. Dance camp is Aug 1-4 from 12:30 – 5:00 and the Cheer camp is Aug 8 – 11 form 12:30 – 5:00. Each camp is $90.00 or you can attend both camps for $150.00.
Bus Rider Information Update
Families whose students are eligible for transportation will receive their bus information by email or letter on Aug 2. The district’s “Bus Stop Finder” will be live on Aug 2.
MAC Summer Band
Band Camps this summer include: Percussion and Colorguard Camps: July 18-22 Summer Band Camp for Everyone: July 25-August 12 (M-F) For more information, please contact Carol Nelson at carol.nelson@austinisd.org
Optional Summer Math Practice
Hello McCallum students and parents! The McCallum math department put together some suggested practice materials for students that want to brush up on their skills before the school year. These assignments are optional.
