The Office of the Registrar will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 16, 2026 through Friday, March 20, 2026. To ensure timely processing, the last day to submit a transcript request is Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Transcript request services will resume on Monday, March 23, 2026.
The State of Texas Academic Achievement Record (Transcript) serves as the official and permanent record of a student’s high school academic history and is maintained for all current and former students.
The transcript includes student demographic information, school data, enrollment history, and a complete record of courses and credits earned. A student’s performance on state assessments, including end-of-course (EOC) assessments, is also included as part of the academic achievement record.
Transcripts are issued only upon request and may be requested by the student, or a parent or legal guardian if the student is under the age of 18.
Current Students
Current students must use Naviance to order transcripts for college admissions, NCAA, scholarships, personal reasons, etc.
COMMON APPLICATION STUDENTS: The Common App requires that your transcript, school report, and letter of recommendation from your counselor be sent together in one electronic submission. If your application requires a letter of recommendation from a counselor, keep in mind that your transcript cannot be sent until the letter is written and ready to submit. To ensure that your school receives everything it needs, in addition to requesting your transcript through Naviance, you must also visit with your counselor in person to review the requirements of your application. Letters of recommendation request form must be requested at least 10 school days prior to the application deadline.
MID-YEAR TRANSCRIPTS: Mid-year transcripts are not sent automatically. Students whose schools are requesting mid-year transcripts will need to submit another request through Naviance in January. Mid-year transcripts can not be sent until rank and GPA are updated. This normally occurs at the end of January.
Former Students
How to Request a Transcript
You must complete the Google Form to officially request your transcript. This is an important step as it's the way we are notified of your request. Due to federal privacy laws, any former students over the age of 18 who need a transcript must make the initial request themselves. Parents of former students cannot request transcripts on behalf of their graduated student. However, former students can give permission for others to pick up the transcript, but the initial request must come from the former student. Requests submitted on a student’s behalf by institutions, employers, or other agencies will not be accepted.
Payment Methods
The fee for official transcripts is $5 per copy. Payment is required at the time of the request, and transcripts will be processed in 3-5 business days once payment is received.
Payments may be made online via MySchoolCentral or in exact cash when picking up transcripts in person.
🔹 Save your receipt—you will need it when submitting your transcript request.
Delivery Methods
There are four delivery options for official transcripts ordered online: Mail, Pick Up, Email, and TREx.
Transcripts are typically mailed within 4–5 business days. During peak periods, processing may take longer. Transcripts are sent via U.S. First Class Mail and cannot be tracked. Mailing may be to your home address or directly to an institution, employer, or agency. Additionally, Incomplete or incorrect mailing addresses may result in delivery delays or returned transcripts.
You'll be notified that your transcript is ready for pick up via email. In that email will be a link to a Google Calendar appointment page where you'll schedule a time for pick-up. If the available times don't work for you, please reply to the email with dates and times that do.
Emailed transcripts are available IF a verified school email is provided, i.e. [example]@[college institution].edu
Electronic transcripts sent via TREx are available only to students who attended in 2012 or later and is limited to select Texas colleges and universities. Requestors will receive an email once the request has been processed with a copy of the delivery receipt for their records.
