These in-person sessions are specifically designed to support families who have not yet completed their student's registration for the upcoming school year. Our dedicated staff will walk you step-by-step through the enrollment process and assist you with uploading all necessary documents. Stop by and let us help you cross registration off your summer to-do list!
If your child is currently attending an Austin ISD school for school year 2025-2026:
Any student currently enrolled in AISD and planning to attend McCallum for the 2025-2026 school year must complete the following steps:
- Complete registration. Go to portal.austinisd.org/ and sign in to your Parent Portal Account. Once signed in, click on or search for the tile AISD Student Registration. Please see these instructions on how to create a Parent Portal Account and the Online Registration Guide for assistance with the online system. Make sure to select school year 2025-2026.
- Complete online course selection. Go to the counseling page for information and instructions.
- Submit the following documentation to the Registrar's Office. You can attach the documents while completing the online registration. Please upload and attach the documents listed below before submitting the online registration. You can also bring documents to the Registrar’s Office on school days, 8:30am-10:00am. Incomplete documentation will not be accepted.
- Proof of residence showing parent/guardian name (current electric, water or gas bill or current lease agreement)
- Parent/Guardian photo ID
- Custody documents, if applicable
- AISD approved transfer letter, if applicable.
Online student data verification tip:
- You CANNOT change your address online. You must submit new proof of residence (current electric, gas or water bill or current lease agreement) and Parent/Guardian Photo ID in order to update the address in our system.
If your child is NOT currently attending an Austin ISD school:
Students who are not currently enrolled in AISD must complete the following steps:

- Submit the following documentation to the Registrar's Office. You can attach the documents while completing the online registration. Please upload and attach the documents listed below before submitting the online registration. You can also bring documents to the Registrar’s Office on school days, 8:30am-10:00am. - Birth certificate
- Immunizations
- Withdrawal/Last Report Card/Transcript
- Social Security Card (optional)
- Parent/Guardian photo ID
- Most recent report card (if available)
- Custody documents, if applicable
- AISD approved transfer letter, if applicable.
Your student will not be enrolled until all 3 steps have been successfully completed and all documentation has been verified by the Registrar. Incomplete documentation will not be accepted.
